DIY Table runner and napkins

I hadn’t anticipated writing a blog post on my fall kitchen table decor. I had no clue how many of you were interested in doing it yourself!

I tend to be the type of person who gets an idea/design in my head and have a hard time letting go and setting for something similar. When I couldn’t really find what I was looking for I decided to just look at JOANN for fabric to see if they had anything I liked. Thankfully, they had exactly what I had envisioned in my head (pictured below). I bought exactly 2 yards. Linked here

I cut one long strip for my runner at 18 inches wide ( leaving room on either side for a rolled hem on the serger). If you have a serger I would suggest the rolled hem. It looked professional and blended seamlessly. After serging either side, this left me with 17 inches wide. For the napkins, I cut them to 20 by 20 inches and did the exact same rolled hem.

All in all, this project took maybe 20-25 minutes. Super quick and easy, and I was left with exactly what I wanted.
