JOANN ONLINE FRAMING REVIEW
I’ve found myself since having Knox (and the pandemic) putting a lot of my creativity and sewing into home decor. Part of it has been that these types of projects seem to be quicker than sewing a garment in many cases, and the other part is since we’re spending so much time at home the little things that I didn’t notice before I’m certainly noticing now. Well, that brings me to my next point. The wall behind our dining table I had hung a sconce several years ago that just never quite fit the space. I just let it go because I didn’t want to mess with it at the time. Well, I learned that JOANN had launched online framing and I was excited to try it. LINKED HERE. I thought that I could replace the scrawny sconce with stacked frames. I had some family photos made back in November and thought this could be the perfect place to display them.
For me, quality matters when it comes to prints and I’ve been burned many times with the cheaper photo print options. Y’all know what I’m talking about. You go to pick them up and they are super shiny and the top half of your face is cut off. That’s a no for me dog. I really loved the selection JOANN Online Framing has. I went with a black and white matted frame. I just wanted something nice and also classic that won’t go out of style and can go with a lot of color schemes depending on how I redecorate over the years.
I gave myself a budget of $100 bucks (I give myself a budget for every project no matter how small) and was able to get 3 10X8 frames for $80.00. I received my frames in under a week and can confirm excellent quality. I know it might seem silly but there’s something so nice about custom framing. The photo quality was really high as well as the frame itself. There’s something to be said about ordering it all at one time and not having to worry with trying to find three matching frames and then trying to tape your image in place. I will definitely be a repeat customer and receives my seal of approval.
